Mariah Carey Bags Hollywood Walk Of Fame: Infinity Diva ‘Super excited and feeling so humbled'

More good news for Mariah Carey!

The 46-year old diva has been announced to receive the Hollywood Walk of Fame next week, Yahoo News reported.

The event is set to take place on August 5 as announced by The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and will be participated by guest speakers, directors Lee Daniels and Brett Ratner who has been Mariah's best friend and director of her music videos through these years.

 L.A Reid, Epic Records CEO and the diva's supporter and producer will also be in the event.

Mail Online speculated that her new-found love, Australian billionaire, James Packer, may also be present during the ceremony. But this has not yet been confirmed.

The Hero hitmaker shared about her recent success on her Instagram by posting the symbol of the Walk of Fame which contains a pink, glittery star with the singer's name in the middle.

She captioned it saying, "Super excited and feeling so humbled. Thank you so much to the fans for making this happen for me. #walkoffame #hollywood #lambily"

There has been much questions why Mariah Carey has only received the Walk of Fame Award this year.

In a Twitter post, Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremonies, clarified these questions saying, "FYI-Mariah Carey was selected in 2007 and is now able to do the ceremony. #WalkofFame101," Rap-up said.

She further said, "Finally, all questions regarding when Mariah Carey will be honored with a star are answered! Fans have repeatedly asked us when their favorite singer would be honored, and now is the time. We are thrilled that we can add one of the world's biggest talents to our Walk of Fame."

Mariah Carey is currently on a residency at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas for her new album "Infinity."
