Bobbi Kristina Brown Death Updates: Dad 'Numb' Over Singer's Passing
Bobbi Kristina's father, Bobby Brown, finally spoke about his feelings towards the loss of his late daughter's and her health struggles months before her sad death in July 26.
In statement as mentioned in Washington Post, Brown expressed his grief saying, "Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable."
Six months after she was found lying face down and unconscious in a tub in her Atlanta home, the 22-year old's cause of death is uncertain with the police and the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office still needing an autopsy.
"Interpretation of autopsy findings and other information will also be challenging. However, an autopsy could be helpful to address questions which may arise about the cause of her unresponsiveness and eventual death," a statement from the medical officer said.
Meanwhile, aside from Bobby Brown, the rest of the Houston family-Bobbi Kristina's grandmother Cissy Houston, aunt Pat Houston and other relatives expressed their grief on Sunday in Whitney Houston's official fan page, USA Today said.
"It is hard to say goodbye. On Sunday, July 26, Bobbi Kristina Brown made her transition peacefully. The family thanks everyone for their loving thoughts and prayers. As Bobbi Kristina would say: 'The wind is behind me and the sun is in my face," they wrote.
It can be remembered that Whitney Houston's daughter was found unresponsive in the bathtub by her boyfriend Nick Gordon and a friend Max Lomas. Since then, Nick and Max have always been regarded as suspects of a possible fowl play but on February 2, authorities released a statement saying that alcohol and drugs are not the cause of the incident, E! Online said.
Bobbi Brown also clarified later on that Kristina and Nick were never married despite their closeness.
