Andre Iguodala, the 2015 NBA Championship MVP, scared Golden State Warrior fans when he tweeted that the Warriors should trade him.

Iguodala's tweet was referring to the report that head coach Steve Kerr will be putting him back on the bench. However, Iguodala eased his fans' concerns one minute later, tweeting that he was only joking about demanding a trade.

Kerr decided to make the bold move to insert Iguodala into the starting lineup during the NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers and the move paid off. Kerr, however, stated that he does not plan on changing the starting lineup that much for next season.

"I saw him at the postgame party in Cleveland, went up and said, 'Congrats, MVP, you were incredible, what a job. And you're going back to the bench next year,' " Kerr said. "And he laughed. And I laughed. Obviously kind of a joke," Kerr said, reported by the San Jose Mercury News. "But I don't anticipate changing anything. We won 67 games with the group that we had. And we've got our core back, just about everybody's back. And more than likely we'll play it the same way. But you never know how things go. We'll see. But the good thing is we're capable of playing a lot of different ways with a lot of different combinations, as we showed throughout the season."

Iguodala took a back seat last season and played off of the bench. He averaged 7.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists. In the postseason, Iguodala averaged 10.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists.
