Taylor Swift Met Stage Malfunction In DC Show; Got Stuck On Stage
Taylor Swift got in a very awkward situation while performing in Washington, D.C.'s Nationals Park on July 13 on Monday.
"They just told me in my ear that I might be stuck up here forever. This thing is broken. I'll just be here forever. Stuck up here, unless I choose to jump down. We're just gonna have to re-choreograph the entire show. It's fine," Swift told her audience via US Magazine.
To remain graceful and continue the show's flow, the Bad Blood singer asked her fans to sing along with her while she performs her next song "Clean" while her staff is sorting a way to fix the problem.
"Whatever. It's gonna be a unique show D.C.!" she later said.
While on a music break, the songstress' staff are said to have informed her of the mishap and that the extendable stage had just broken, TMZ said.
Before the incident, the hitmaker surprised her audience that her New Zealander bff Lorde would be joining her in the said concert. They performed Lorde's hit single " Royals" together.
Pictures found from Mail Online showed Taylor Swift adorned in a white crop top and high-waist shorts with gemstones accent matched with knee-high boots.
Lorde, on the other hand, is sporting a long black dress adorned with a choker neckline.
Fans who saw Taylor's awkward moment are quick to talk about it in their social media page, Time said.
One Instagram user captured Swift's stage mishap in a short video clip and posted it online.
"That moment when Taylor Swift's set breaks down," the caption goes.
