A new and longer trailer for the highly anticipated movie, "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice," was released on Saturday during the Warner Bros. Hall H presentation at Comic-Con in San Diego, California.

In this more detailed trailer, viewers get a better idea about why Batman, played by Ben Affleck, will take on Superman, played by Henry Cavill. The battle scenes between the two superheroes promise to be very destructive.

"Black and blue. God vs. man. Day vs. night," Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luther says. This is the first time that fans got to see Eisenberg as Luther.

Although the movie is not the sequel to "Man of Steel," the story line will pick up after the destruction that the Man of Steel caused in his battle against General Zod (Michael Shannon).

Fans also get their very first glimpse of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. The movie also stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman/ Arthur Curry, Diane Lane as Martha Kent and Ezra Miller as The Flash/ Barry Allen.

The IMDB summary for the movie reads:

"Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis' most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before."

"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
