Silento's Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) continued to be on the trending list on Youtube since its release on April with millions of people from all over the world trying to post their take of the dance craze.

The song is now the newest song promoted in DanceOn #WatchMeDanceOn with its campaign CEO Amanda Taylor who initiated the idea with TuneCore in New York in 2010, HNGN said.

"I was trying to make a proof of concept that dance as a category was worth programming through YouTube and social video in general. YouTube ended up awarding us with a multi-million dollar grant," Taylor said in an interview.

Silento, whose real name is Ricky Lamar Hawk, is originally from Atlanta and has just graduated from junior high school at Redan High School in Stone Mountain.

In an interview with AJC, the Atlanta-based musician said that the inspiration of producing the song comes from a sad experience of losing in a talent show.

"I was like, let me show them why they should have picked me. I don't think a lot of people believed in me at first...I've got to show them, like, you slept on me and now I've got to wake you up. And 'Watch Me' was a good way to start," he said.

In other interviews, he also said that he posted the first version of the song on Instagram before it took the world on storm in Youtube.

At first...I was having fun at school; just singing out of my mouth. And I recorded for fifteen seconds and put it on my Instagram. Then from there, I capitalized and made it a song," he recalled.

Meanwhile, among those who are showing off their Nae Nae moves on Youtube, this video of a pregnant mom, Nikki Taylor and her daughter, Jaylyn have been ranked on top of the list for weeks now, another report from HNGN said.

"My mom is gonna rock it, but don't laugh at her," Jaylyn forwarned audiences before they start dancing.

"Cause I'm pregnant, really pregnant," Nikki replied.

"I love my baby brother!" Jaylyn continued.
