Fifty Shades Author EL James Met Negative Comments on Twitter Interview

50 Shades author EL James got bombarded with negative reactions from the Twitter community in the supposed Q &A session with the author of the adult trilogy.

Using the hashtag AskEL James, the Fifty Shades accepts questions about the trilogy and at the same time promote the spinoff book Grey.

However, the Q&A took a wrong turn as haters bashed the author with questions about racism, abuse and violence among other themes that they have noticed in the books.

USA Today gathered some questions deemed as sarcastic and sound as a personal attack to the author.

"#AskELJames after the success of "Grey," have you considered re-telling the story from the perspective of someone who can write."

"#AskELJames What's your favourite shade out of the 50? Is there a chance that more shades will be added?"

"Which do you hate more, women or the English language? #AskELJames"

Aside from the mentioned questions, some statements have also become popular and have been retweeted several times, according to The Star.

"Is there a safe word we can use to get you to stop writing such drivel?"

"Would you say no to another Twitter Q&A? And if so, does that mean yes?"

"Is it true that you're actually just a burlap sack full of bad ideas and spiders?"

"When do you think your writer's block will kick in? Signed Ev R Hopeful"

 "Did you use a blow up doll as your characterization inspiration for Ana?"

"Is it only ok for Christian to stalk, coerce, threaten & manipulate Ana because he's hot, or is it also ok because he's rich?"

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the topic become trending in the United States by the mid afternoon on the same day.

EL James, meanwhile, had braved through the unexpected Q&A and only answered milder questions an revealed some personal details such as her favorite book(To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee) and her favorite film (Casablanca).
