The Cleveland Cavaliers are very interested in free agent Mike Dunleavy, league sources revealed reported by ESPN.com. According to the sources, the Cavaliers will pursue Dunleavy, who has been with the Chicago Bulls since 2013, right when free agency starts on July 1.

Despite having a lot of players become free agents as well, the Cavaliers are interested in Dunleavy because James, who is expected to enter the free agent market, is reportedly an admirer. Although James is expected to stay in Cleveland, the four-time MVP will reportedly see how the Cavaliers handle the other free agents before signing a new contract.

Some of the players who will become free agents are Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, K.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert and Matthew Dellavedova.

Dunleavy, who will turn 35 before by the start of next season, is rumored to be staying put in Chicago. Dunleavy averaged 9.4 points in 29.2 minutes during the regular season.

"The most important pieces of our summer are retaining the guys we have - Jimmy Butler, Mike Dunleavy. After that, there won't be a lot of flexibility," Bulls general manager Gar Forman said. "We'll have a spot or two to fill but not a lot of money to do anything on a major scale."

Dunleavy said, "I love being here and would love to be back. Re-signing is a priority."

Teams are allowed to talk to free agents starting on July 1. They are not allowed to sign contracts until July 8.
