Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea FIght: Toxic Singer Throws Shade at Rapper's ‘Pretty Girl’ Comments
Britney Spears has seemingly responded to Iggy Azalea's rude comments about their collaboration track, "Pretty Girls."
The popstar tweeted, "Can't wait to get back to Vegas. So thankful I have shows for the rest of the year to look forward to... #YouWantAPieceOfMe."
Although the message seems very innocent and Spears never calls out Azaela, many speculate that it is a direct dig to the fact that Azalea has canceled her tour twice.
The supposed feud between the two artists started when Azalea suggested that their song flopped in the charts due to fact that she could not promote it. In response to a fan's statement about the "Pretty Girl's" lack of success, Azalea had tweeted, "its difficult to send a song up the charts without additional promo and tv performances etc. unfortunately im just featured..."
A day later, the Australian rapper responded to The Pop Zone's tweet about how she threw shade at Spears.
Azalea wrote, "my comment is factual, it applies to any song. I dont have to suck the womans asshole 24/7 to be her friend, do i? bye girls."
The rapper has claimed that she was just sharing her opinion and was not throwing shade at Spears. One of her last tweets about the subject read, "Genuine friends have genuine opinions. Its possible & healthy to have a differing thought without it being bitchy or shade."
In response to another fan's comments, Azalea stated that she loves the song but thought more could have been done with it before adding that she thinks Spears is great.
@britspears23 i really love the song, and actually never said anything negative, only that i think there was room to do more with it.

"Pretty Girls" was released on May 4. It peaked at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 but was not able to stay within the top 40 after three weeks. The song has only sold 96,000 copies to date.
