Rapper Rick Ross has been arrested for the second time this month and this time around, his charges are a lot more serious.

TMZ reported, based on information provided by the U.S. Marshals Service, that 39-year-old Ross, whose real name is William Roberts, was arrested Wednesday morning in Fayette County, Georgia. He has been charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.

The arrest stems from an incident that occurred around two weeks ago when Ross confronted one of his contracted men who was doing work inside of his Georgia home. The confrontation escalated into a fight.

According to the law enforcement, the assault charge is from pistol whipping and the kidnapping charge is from the fact that Ross would not let the man leave.

The Marshals stated that they were contacted to help carry out the outstanding arrest warrants. The arrest happened without any incidents at Ross' main home. His bodyguard was also arrested.

About two weeks ago, Ross was busted for misdemeanor possession of marijuana in Fayette County. Ross was pulled over for a window tinting violation when the cops noticed a strong marijuana odor.
