Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Divorce Update: Can Kids Rescue Crumbling Marriage?

As more reports of trouble in the Ben-Jen paradise pour in, it is becoming increasingly clear that the star couple's three kids are their last hope.

Sources close to Garner have claimed that the actress is devastated by the idea of divorce and what it could mean for her three children Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3 she had with husband Ben Affleck over the last 10 years. The 43-year old actress does not want to initiate divorce proceedings and Ben Affleck is reportedly keen to not take the first step though he has been spending a lot of time away from his family's home in L.A.

According to Radar Online, Affleck is hardly around. His workaholic ways are being blamed as much as his alleged troubles with alcohol and gambling. The actor reportedly takes off to hotel Bel-Air when there is trouble at home.

New York Daily News reports that the rumors of divorce notwithstanding, the couple is putting up a face of matrimonial bliss. It is clear for now that the kids have forced the parents to not pursue divorce. However it remains to be seen if they can help their salvage the relationship.
