Joyce Mitchell, who was recently charged with lending a helping hand to a couple of convicted murderers to break free, got support from her daughter-in-law, who claimed on Saturday that the family stands behind her "no matter what."

Joyce is 51 years old, a mother and wife, and has been charged with a "felony count of promoting prison contraband and a misdemeanor count of criminal facilitation," according to nbcnews.

Having pleaded not guilty during a late-night stand, she is being held on $110,000 bail or a $220,000 bond.

When she was brought into the court room with her hands cuffed, she wore jeans and a lime green top, looking frightened. Though she did not say anything, she was ordered to be in jail on $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond on felony county. She is expected again in court on Monday morning, according to foxnews.

She had been arrested the previous Friday for helping a couple of convicted murderers to escape an "upstate New York prison," said the police, according to ABC.

Called 'Tillie', she is suspected of helping two "highly dangerous killers" escape from New York State's biggest maximum security prison after she fell for Richard Matt.

"She thought she was in love," said an official, and confirmed that she had been having a connection with him for two months.

She had at least two affairs during her five-year first marriage, her then husband told Daily Mail Online.

"Sure she cheated on me," 51-year-old farmer Tobey Premo said. "She had carried on not only with Lyle, her husband now, but with another guy she worked with. I found out because his girlfriend came to me and told me about it." She had been caught having sex on railroad tracks outside a factory where she worked.

Premo, 51, had been her sweetheart at St. Regis Falls High School, and confirmed that she had cheated on him with Lyle Mitchell, who she then went on to marry. "I was devastated," he said. "I kissed her on the bus when I was 16 and I liked her ever after."

Joyce Mitchell, 51, of Dickson Center, was accused of "promoting prison contraband in the 1st degree and criminal facilitation in the 4th degree, both felonies," said the police.

Although Mitchell has not been found giving the convicted murderers the power tools that are needed to be used to break out of the maximum security prison, according to Clinton County District Attorney, Andrew Wylie, he added, "She brought contraband into the facility but I'm not going to get into what it was,"

David Sweat and Richard Matt broke out of prison early Saturday, June 6. Mitchell worked in a tailor shop of Clinton Correctional Facility and spoke regularly to investigators. Over time, Wylie said that she showed increasing cooperation.
