Mckinney Officer Resigns Due to Action in Pool Party Video
In the video, Caebolt could be seen pointing his firearm at teenagers and then pushed a 15 year old girl to the ground.
During a news conference on Tuesday, Mckinney Police Chief Greg Conley termed Casebolt's actions as indefensible.
"He came into the call out of control and as the video shows was out of control during the incident." Conley said. "I had 12 officers on the scene and 11 of them performed according to their training."
Casebolt was initially put under administrative leave while officials were conducting an investigation.
In the video, he could be seen pushing Dajerria Becton to the ground and then pinned her with his knees while she cried out in pain.
He then aimed his weapon at other teenagers and briefly ran after them before stopped by other fellow officers.
"Our policies, our training, our practice do not support his actions," Conley said.
Speaking on the issue, Mayor Loughmiller said the "incident is not indicative of McKinney as a whole."
Casebolt had earlier served in the army for ten years between 1993- 2003. He then worked as a Highway Patrol Trooper for 2 years before joining the Mckinney police force in 2005.
Casebolt was also an instructor at the McKinney-based Executive Self-Defense & Fitness Training and is said to be proficient in "several different disciplines of martial arts, but now exclusively trains in Krav Maga combat arts, Arnis, and ground fighting."
