Princess Charlotte Shot Getting First Kiss From Little Big Brother Prince George
The first photos of Britain's Princess Charlotte together with Prince George, who is pictured giving his baby sister a kiss, were released by Kensington Palace on Saturday, according to hollywoodlife. The pictures were taken at Anmer Hall, in Prince William and his wife Kate's country mansion, on his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II's private Sandringham estate in Norfolk, eastern England. William and Kate have been staying at Anmer Hall since Charlotte's birth at St Mary's Hospital in London on May 2.
The 21-month old George sat on a sofa holding Charlotte, when she was around two weeks old, according to thehindustantimes. The image of Princess Charlotte's first kiss from her big brother George, who was all of two years, was shot by Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.
"They're absolutely lovely," adds a palace source. "The duchess has taken some absolutely beautiful photos," according to people.
In a white romper suit with a matching jumper, Charlotte was propped up by two white cushions. George wore a white shirt with blue piping around the collar, with cuffs in the front, and matching blue socks and shorts.
Each of the four photographs is a delight. One of them shows George planting a kiss on his sister's forehead, another shows him looking down at her affectionately, the third one pictures George looking up and the final shot has him smiling.
Charlotte will be christened as a member of the Church of England by Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, spiritual leader of the Anglican Church, on July 5.
