Ellie Goulding Reveals she set up Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris

When Ellie Goulding is not making music, she is playing matchmaker. The "Love Me Like You Do" British singer revealed that she introduced Calvin Harris to his current girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

"I did play matchmaker, that's true," Ellie told The Sun via Elle. "Calvin is a really great mate and he's so fantastic, and Taylor is such a cool person who I love. I thought, 'They're both really awesome and both really tall. They'll be brilliant together.'"

Goulding, 28 has worked with the 31-year-old DJ numerous times and were rumored to be dating at one point. They have collaborated on tracks titled "I Need Your Love" and "Outside."

The "Burn" singer also recently starred in 25-year-old Swift's "Bad Blood" music video, which broke the Vevo record for most views within 24 hours.

Swift and Harris have been linked since March. The couple has been photographed numerous times together. After attending the Billboard Music Awards, Swift and Harris have been seen hanging out a lot in New York City. Harris has also met Swift's brother, Austin and her two cats named after TV characters, Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey.

TMZ previously reported that the couple met via girl group Haim. The Haim sisters are friends with Swift and Harris. There were other reports that the couple met at the 2015 Brit Awards in London. These reports claim that Harris was "immediately smitten" with Swift when he first saw her.

Goulding most recently hung out with artist Katy Perry, Swift's rumored enemy. Goulding posted a group picture on Instagram but later deleted it, causing many fans to believe that she did so to avoid getting involved in the supposed feud between the two female artists. Goulding, however, said she deleted it because she did not like how she looked in it.

She explained, "That's so funny that that's even a thing. I delete things all the time... I delete posts of myself all the time. I post them, and then I go, 'No, I don't look very good. Delete.'"

Swift's other close friend, Lorde, was also present at the event with Perry. She reportedly uploaded the same photo and deleted it afterwards.
