Sony is set to unveil two new Playstation 4 revisions, one possibly with a 1 TB hard drive, to meet growing storage demands of new-age games.

IB Times reports Sony's two filings with Federal Communication Commission (FCC) that detail the new models CUH-1215A and CUH-1215B. The 1 TB CUH-1215B weighs 2.5 kg compared to the 2.8 kg existing version and draws 230 watt volt rate as against 250 watt volt rate.

Sony is set to announce updates to all its products including PS 4 at the E3 press event two weeks later.

TIME reported that game titles of the present-day can consume as much as 40 GB. With just 500 GB on existing models, space is a constant constraint.

While enhanced storage on revised PS 4 would be welcomed, gamers could still remain disappointed as new systems do not appear to feature 5 GHz WiFi that the gaming community has been clamoring for.
