Josh Duggar Scandal News Update: More Sordid Details of Incest Surface from Latest Police Report
A new police report shows Josh Duggar had confessed to his father Jim Bob of sexually molesting his sisters on at least three occasions.
The Duggar family landed in the eye of storm last month when reports describing Josh Duggar's past sexual misconduct against minors surfaced. It was not clearly known then who the victims were. The police report obtained from Washington County Sheriff's Office by In Touch shows that Duggar, now 27, had inappropriately touched his sisters, the youngest of who was 5 years, when he was 15.
"James said that in March of 2002 [redacted, Josh] who had just turned 14, came to him very upset and crying," the new report reads. "James said that [redacted, Josh] had told him that he had been sneaking into [redacted, his sisters'] room at night and had been touching [redacted, his sisters] on the breasts and vaginal areas while they were sleeping," In Touch quoted from the report.
It was also reported that Jim Bob and wife Michelle waited at least 16 months before availing counseling for their children, delay which could have landed them in prison for as long as six years.
Following last month's reports, Josh Duggar confessed to sexual misconduct as a teenager. Following his confession and apology, TLC cancelled reruns of its popular show 19 Kids and Counting, a massive hit series about the Duggar family.
