E. L. James' 'Grey' To Retell Fifty Shades, Hits Shelves June 18
The massive trilogy hit 'Fifty Shades of Grey' will see another addition this month. Author E.L. James announced the launch of 'Grey' on June 18.
Grey is narrative of Christian Trevelyan Grey, the male protagonist in series who practises BDSM. The trilogy that revolves around the love story of Grey and Anastasia Steele sold more than 125 million copies and spawned a movie series, with the first movie grossing $ 570 million. A sequel is in the works, reports The Washington Post. The new book will be a retelling of Fifty Shades of Grey by Christian Grey.
"Hello all. For those of you who have asked, Christian's POV of #FSOG is published on 18th June for his birthday. It's called GREY... I hope you enjoy it," the author wrote to her Instagram while sharing an image that could likely be the book's cover.
"Christian is a complex character, and readers have always been fascinated by his desires and motivations, and his troubled past. Also, as anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows, there are two sides to every story. It's been a great pleasure to return to my happy place - writing, being with Christian and Ana in their universe," the author said in a statement according to Los Angles Times.
