Britney Spears confirms she's dating again - the lucky guy is Charlie Ebersol
Britney Spears has had some ups and downs in her life, both professionally and personally. Lucky for her, her personal life is experiencing an up swing as it's been reported the "Oops I did it Again" singer is dating again.
Spears is dating producer and writer Charlie Ebersol, according to E! News.
'They met through friends,' a source told E! News. 'He is the sweetest guy ever and they are very much enjoying getting to know one another.
The "Perfume" singer confirmed the news herself during Britney Day in Las Vegas Wednesday, saying, "Yes, there is a special someone." Pressed for more details about her relationship with Ebersol, she told Extra, "It's very new."
Charlie is the son of veteran TV producer and co-creator of Saturday Night Live Dick Ebersol and he and Britney have been seeing each other for 'a few weeks', according to the report.
Despite the budding romance, the two are apparently taking things slow since the relationship is in the early stages. "It's just the beginning so no idea if it will become serious but right now they are having a lot of fun together," the source added.
Britney ended her relationship approximately two months ago with David Lucado after an alleged cheating scandal. It's no surprise that Britney is ready to date again, however, as she admitted she was looking forward to new dates during her Piece Of Me concert in Las Vegas at the end of August.
"Well, by now everyone knows my boyfriend cheated on me. But the best part of breaking up is going on first dates," she stated.
Meanwhile, Britney recently performed with a very famous face in the audience - and the superstar admits to being rattled: "I think Jennifer Lopez came to one of the shows a couple of weeks ago and I was extremely nervous."
