Duggar Family May Open Up About Son Josh's Transgressions On Fox

Duggar family patriarch Jim Bob and his wife Michelle will be appearing on Fox News this Wednesday to speak about the crisis the family finds itself in, after their son Josh recently apologized for sexual misconduct during his teenage years.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the senior Duggar couple blogged that they would share the pain the family experienced 12 years ago, alluding to alleged abuse of five underage girls at the hands of their son Josh, now 27. Josh Duggar had apologized last month through a Facebook post, admitting he had acted inexcusably and regretted it. No charges were framed against him.

Soon after his public apology, TLC cancelled reruns of the family's popular show 19 Kids and Counting. The channel has not announced if it will continue to air new seasons of the show, even as advertisers refused to run on the show. Streaming service Hulu removed the show from its streaming schedule.

Reports also emerged last week that a spin-off could be in the works, to shift focus from the senior Duggars to the family's children who recently tied the knot.
