Now that the Chicago Bulls have officially fired head coach Tom Thibodeau - a move everyone was expecting - the organization is focused on finding its next coach.

In Thursday's press conference, Bulls general manager Gar Forman, hinted that although they ideally want someone with experience, they will try not to limit their options.

Forman said, "We're really looking for the right fit. I went through some of those things that I talked about, obviously someone that could lead, someone that can communicate at a high level, has a great knowledge of the game. Obviously experience is a plus, as far as coaching is concerned. If they've been a head coach, even more so. But we're not going to limit the search in any way."

Kurt Helin with NBC Sports' Pro Basketball Talk believes that Fred Hoiberg, Alvin Gentry and Adrian Griffin are all viable options. Out of this group, Griffin is the one with the most experience with the team. Griffin is the Bulls lead assistant and if the Bulls want to keep it in-house, the ex-NBA player could be the way to go. The guys in the locker room reportedly like him a lot as well.

Hoiberg, who played in the league for 10 years, currently coaches at Iowa State and in considered the "most ready coach" who can shift from the college level to the NBA without many hiccups along the way. Although the Hoiberg has reportedly been on the Bulls' list, he might not want to leave Iowa State.

Gentry has had major success as the lead assistant with the Golden State Warriors this year and the Los Angeles Clippers the years before. Unlike Thibodeau, Gentry's specialty is building a strong offense, which he could definitely do with the Bulls' roster. He is also very player-friendly.
