Woman gets stuck in chimney after meeting man online

Sometimes breakups can be hard, especially if you are not ready to let go. One California woman tested the limits of her relationship this past weekend when she attempted to enter her online lover's home through an unexpected passage, according to reports.

Genoveva Nunez-Figueroa, 30, was arrested Sunday morning after police say she spent a few hours stuck in a chimney of a home of a man who had recently ended a relationship with her.

She had been trying to break into the house and had gotten stuck, police said. The homeowner told Los Angeles station KABC he had met the woman, Genoveva Nunez-Figueroa, online and they had gone out on a few dates, but recently ended the relationship.

The Ventura County Star reported she was arrested on suspicion of illegal entry and giving false information to police.

Unfortunately, online dating can lead to scary situations and it doesn't matter if you're a man or a woman, relationship expert Rachel DeAlto said.

"Guys think they're so much safer and that they don't have to worry about security issues," she said. "But obviously, a woman in a chimney proves that wrong."
