Rapper Flavor Fav Arrested for DUI in Las Vegas

Flavor Fav was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Las Vegas on Thursday. The rapper was initially pulled over for speeding when a Nevada state trooper found an opened container of alcohol and marijuana in the BMW. The 56-year-old rapper, who gained fame in the 1980s, was stopped after midnight.

Nevada Highway Patrol Spokesman Trooper Loy Hixson stated that Flavor Fav, whose birth name is William Drayton Jr., was driving at 73 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone on Interstate 15.

Hixson stated that Flavor Fav was also driving with a suspended vehicle registration and a suspended license. According to TMZ, Flavor Fav's license has been suspended 16 times.

Flavor Fav posted his $7,000 bail and was released on Thursday. The police are waiting for the results of his blood alcohol test.

USA Today reported, "His Las Vegas attorney, Kristina Wildeveld, said she had no comment to offer regarding her client's Las Vegas arrest, but she said he's working to resolve an ongoing case in New York that also involves driving-related charges.

Legal troubles have added up for the rapper and reality star, known for wearing large clocks around his neck."

Flavor Fav has not commented on his arrest.
