Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield Breakup Rumors: Couple seen Holding Hands in Malibu
Did Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield ever break up?
The couple, who many speculated took a break last month, was just seen holding hands at a Malibu Farm this past weekend.
On top of this photo, the first of the pair since January, Stone was seen greeting Garfield's parents lovingly at a screening of her new film, "Aloha" in London. Watch the greeting, which was caught on cameras by Entertainment Weekly. Stone gives Garfield's dad a peck on the cheek at the 0:10-second mark.
PEOPLE, as well as other magazines, reported in early April that Stone, 26 and Garfield, 31 were on a break due to busy schedules. The magazine stated that after three-years of dating, the couple could not handle the long-distance relationship and decided to go on a break.
"He's thrown himself in the project to the detriment of all else," the source said. "But it's too early to say the relationship is over."
Garfield was working on Martin Scorsese's "Silence" and the set was located in Taiwan.
"Emma understands his work anxieties - it's why she originally pulled out of Cabaret last year and only did it this year - but they're taking a break from seeing each other," the source added. "They're both a slave to their schedules. This time last year they were privately discussing marriage."
According to the source, once Garfield is done filming by the end of May, the relationship would resume where it was left of and it seems like the source was correct.
