Dancing With The Stars Update: Rumer Willis Bags Mirror Ball Trophy In Show's 20th Season
Dancing With The Stars declared a new winning pair, Rumer Willis and Valentin Chmerkovskiy for their pasadoble/foxtrot number in the show's 20th season finale on Tuesday night.
Rumer and Val bested two other contending pairs consisting of singer/actor Riker Lynch and Allison who landed on the second place and Holker and military veteran Noah Galloway professional dancer Sharna Burgess as the show's third place, CNN said.
According to Yahoo News, Riker Lynch and Allison Holker's '24-Hour Fusion' salsa number has been in close competition with Rumer and Val with judges amazed with the pair's 'showmanship.'
"If this whole competition was based off of showmanship, it's yours," Judge Julianne commented.
Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess, meanwhile, stunned the audience with their brilliant cha cha/Argentine tango fusion.
Before the announcement of the top three winners, the show featured the 12 couples in this show's season who were sent home in previous episodes.
These include Iowa farmer Chris Soules (from the Bachelor/Bachelorette series), Robert Herjavec (ABC's "Shark Tank), singing icon Patti LaBelle, Suzanne Somers (Three's Company), gymnast Nastia Liukin, model/actress Charlotte McKinney, performer/producer/actor Redfoo, football player Michael Sam; and actress Willow Shields (from the Hunger Games).
Meanwhile, proud mom, Demi Moore immediately talked to Twitter expressing how proud she is with her daughter, People said.
"A Family Affair!!! Filled with love pride and awe for @TheRue & @iamValC #TeamValenRue," the 52-year old actress said.
Demi also posted a selfie with her two kids Scout, 23, and Tallulah, 21 said to be taken before Rumer and Val's number as a sign of support.
"Final dance! #TeamValenRue we love you!! @buuuski @Scout_Willis," she wrote.
