17-year-old Sees Jesus After Being 'Dead' For 20 Minutes
A high school Texan, Zack Clements, was said to have no pulse and declared dead for 20 minutes, but then came back to life, claiming that he saw Jesus when he was knocked out.
That interesting meeting happened after he collapsed in his gym class and was declared by the doctors to be with "no heartbeat for 20 minutes," according to foxnews.
He suffered a sudden heart attack at Victory Life Academy on May 5 and did not respond at all. But just as doctors were going to announce that he was dead, he revived after 20 minutes.
He was then airlifted to the Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth and woke up at the intensive care unit after a few days.
While Zack's recovery seemed to be miraculous, what he said after getting up seemed more magical.
"When I was out those 20 minutes, I saw a man who had long, ruffled hair and kind of a thick beard, and it didn't take me long to realize that that was Jesus," Zack said.
"I went up to him and he put his hand on my shoulder and told me everything would be alright."
Zack and his family are at a loss for any explanation, still, they call it a miracle.
His father explained that it was a divine miracle. "For him to wake up and tell us something he experienced like that. It's just you can't explain it. It's not humanly possible to explain it," he said, according to dailymail.
Zack's mother, Teresa Clements, has also accepted that Jesus helped bring her son back to life.
"I'm just glad he decided to let me have my baby back," she added.
The doctors are not sure why he collapsed, or why he recovered, either. He is planning to return to school after a few days. His family hopes to raise some money to pay for his medical bills through the You Caring page.
