Human Barbie Valeria Lukyanova Photoshopped Rock-Hard Abs, Blames it On Poor Quality Images
Real-life Barbie Doll Valeria Lukyanova came back in the spotlight after a six-month hiatus and showed off a photo of her wearing skimpy denim shorts and rocking rock hard abs. However, the photo received widespread criticism and speculation as to its validity.
Luykyanova has now admitted to Cosmopolitan.com that some recent snaps that she posted on Facebook are indeed Photoshopped.
"My best friend [took the pictures]. The pictures are photoshopped to achieve smoothness and color correction," Luykyanova confessed about her latest "Spring" photos, in which she is shown wearing a bra top and tiny jean shorts that accentuate her surgically-altered physique.
"The pictures were taken in the botanical garden on the phone. They were not high quality. I had to edit them in order to correct the defects of the phone picture."
Valeria, who said she's not yet her physical ideal, said jealous people are the ones who make negative comments, because people who are happy with themselves don't write nasty remarks.
"Those who are unsatisfied with what I do and critique me and offend me clearly don't have the same figure as I do. Otherwise they would not be so negative," she explained via email to Cosmo. "People who are satisfied with themselves don't comment on who they don't like. They will pass by. And those who write nasty [things], they are openly jealous. To have an ideal body is important to every self-respecting girl."
Valeria has repeatedly denied rumors that her Barbie doll beauty is the result of numerous plastic surgeries. Lukyanova said she has only had breast implants, and the rest of her looks is due to makeup.
