Heidi Klum "Germany’s Next Top Model" Finale Cancelled After Show Receives Bomb Threat
Heidi Klum and thousands of other people were evacuated from the live televised finale of 'Germany's Next Top Model', minutes into the broadcast after show organizers received a bomb threat.
Filming was suspended when an anonymous women called in the threat at 9pm to the SAP Arena in Mannheim.
Klum, her daughter Leni and other members of the jury were taken to an undisclosed location while the attending public were moved to a safe distance from the arena.
The police then conducted a full sweep of the building with the help of sniffer dogs and discovered an unclaimed suitcase close to the cloakroom. The suitcase did not contain any explosives.
Heidi informed her fans about the issue through her Facebook page and gave more information about how the show would conclude.
She wrote, ''GNT fans, unfortunately we could tonight hold our grand finale tonight and celebrate the end as we had planned it. I'm very sorry for all the girls, the team and especially for you, our fans at home and in the hall. We had a great show prepared fr you which promised a great atmosphere: all the former winners, great music acts, walks and much more. I am already looking forward to announcing a beautiful winner in a few days. We will find Germany's Next Top Model 2015! We promise! Best wishes and kisses, your Heidi (sic)''
