While Apple fans wonder whether the next instalment of iPhone released in September this year will actually be called iPhone 7, a reputed German designer Martin Hajek has already wagered it will be the seventh instalment by releasing concept images.

Silicon Angle reports that the iPhone 7 will have a larger screen in the same form factor as the iPhone 6. This could be achieved by using a thinner bezel and relocating the ear speaker, front camera and proximity sensor to the phone's edge. Most reports have speculated that iPhone 7 could appear with a 5.5 inch screen. It remains to be seen if these tweaks can indeed allow for a jump from the current 4.7 inch screen of iPhone 6.

Apart from a powerful processor which is along expected lines, Hajek feels the phone's rear will have dual-lens camera, the best an iPhone has ever had and an improved antenna configuration which will see rings instead of bars as on previous phones.

The most notable design change according to Hajek is that Apple could do way with the iconic physical home button as it incorporates Touch ID sensor into the display.

Apple's iPhone 6 broke all sales records, helping the Cupertino giant post a 41 percent increase in revenues during the first quarter of the year. Several reports have emerged claiming that September may see the release of more than one iPhone including the seventh variant.
