iPhone 6S Rumors, Specs and News Update: Next iPhone To Come In Rose Gold Color Option, 12 Megapixel Camera

The next iPhone, believed to called iPhone 6S will come in a rose gold color option, according to a KGI Securities research note obtained by AppleInsider. The new option will be additional to the silver, space gray and gold options that Apple currently offers.

The report did not mention if the rose cold color will be made from 18-karat rose gold as the Apple Watch or it'll be just anodized aluminum.

Among other rumors regarding the iPhone 6S, the camera will get a resolution boost - 8 megapixel to 12 megapixel. Low light improvement will also be improved.

In addition, the new iPhone will be powered by a faster A9 processor, 2GB RAM and a force touch display, a technology first introduced on the Apple Watch.

Lastly, the iPhone 6S will have improved sound output and sapphire glass could be used on the 5.5-inch iPhone 6S Plus version.

Ideally, we should be able to get our hands on the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus around September or October.
