Jennifer Lopez to Headline Residency in Las Vegas: Check Out the FULL List of Her Performance Dates

Jennifer Lopez is gearing up to headline a residency in Las Vegas, according to new reports released Wednesday.

The pop star announced Tuesday night on "American Idol" that she is heading to Las Vegas next year for a residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

She will perform 20 shows, starting Jan. 20, at the Planet Hollywood Axis auditorium in Las Vegas. Pre-sale of the tickets began Wednesday, with the general public sale starting Saturday, USA Today reports.

She has live shows set for January, February, May and June.

Axis is the current home of Britney Spears' "Piece of Me" show. Spears is slated to continue performing there through 2016.

The singer, actress, entrepreneur and music judge already has quite a full plate. She is still set to judge the final season of "American Idol" in 2016 and has signed on to the NBC drama "Shades of Blue," which does not yet have an air date.

"It'll probably be a little bit of a challenge scheduling-wise, but nothing that anybody doesn't think I can handle," Lopez told USA Today. "I'm excited. It's something I've thought about a lot. Just being in one place (and) not having to tour the world as much."
