Fans can expect a death in the upcoming "Captain America: Civil War" movie.

The production for the superhero flick started last Friday on May 8 and the latest rumor, which first popped up on Heroic Headlines, is claiming that a funeral scene will be filmed on May 12th.

According to a casting call for "Sputnik," which is reportedly the film's production title, the movie is seeking "upscale men and women" to appear in "dark" and "conservative" clothing, all signs that point to a funeral.

Heroic Headlines wrote, "On Tuesday, May 12th, Captain America: Civil War will be filming what is simply being referred to as 'a funeral scene' in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The production is currently operating under the working title of Sputnik, and extras are being asked to wear formal, solid black attire for the event. The weather forecast for Tuesday is a cloudy day, with thunderstorms throughout the afternoon, making for a sullen, grim funeral."

The website continued stating that if the movie follows the comic book series that goes by the same title, the funeral could be for Captain America. In the series, Captain America is assassinated. The Winter Soldier, played by Sebastian Stan, then takes over as Captain America.

Stan's contract with Marvel reportedly includes nine films whereas Chris Evans, who plays Captain America/ Steve Rogers, has a contract for only six movies.

The death scene could also be for Bill Foster (Goliath), who fights with Captain America. Foster gets killed by Tony Stark's Thor robot clone that is later named Ragnarok. Since the character has not been introduced at all, many do not expect him to make an appearance in "Captain America: Civil War."

The latest installment of the Captain America franchise is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
