Lea Michele Posts Sentimental Message for Late Cory Monteith's Birthday
May 11 marks former "Glee" actor Cory Monteith's birthday and the young actor would have turned 33.
His girlfriend at the time of his death, Glee co-star Lea Michele, posted a sweet message to her late ex on Twitter.
I know you're serenading everyone right now.. We love you Cory! Happy Birthday..," she captioned the shot, which features Cory rocking a big smile as he plays the drums.
Cory Monteith and Lea Michele were both on-off couples on the hit TV show and in real life.
This isn't the first tribute to Monteith from Michele. Earlier this year, the 28-year-old actress took the jersey worn by Monteith's character, Finn Hudson, as the show came to a close for good.

When Glee wrapped this winter, Lea Instagrammed a photo of herself taking home the football jersey Monteith wore on the show as Finn Hudson.
The actor passed away on July 13, 2013 after overdosing on drugs and alcohol in his Vancouver hotel room. He was only 31 at the time of his death.
Monteith had struggled with substance addiction throughout his life. In interviews, he had admitted that he'd struggled with drug use since he was 12-years-old, and he'd first entered rehab when he was 19.
