Zayn Malik’s Mean Tweet To Louis Tomlinson Leaves One Direction Fans Devastated

Former One Direction bandmates Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson are fighting it out over Twitter after Louis took an not-so-subtle dig over Naughty Boy's studio photo with his former bandmate on Wednesday.

Tomlinson wrote, "Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha ! Some people still do HA!"

To which, Malik, 22, replied, "@Louis_Tomlinson remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine ?"

"@Louis_Tomlinson and some people can't even sing.. but who's complaining when there's auto tune eh," the producer wrote.

Then Tomlinson, 23, wrote, "How does it feel to be riding on the back of someone else's career ?"

Finally, Naughty Boy wrote, "Yeah how does it feel mate? You've been doing that for the last five years... I've got Emeli Sande and Sam smith on my CV."

Fans were clearly upset over the exchange between these former bandmates.

"stop being childish lmao," one fan wrote to Louis, while another account which uses 'I love Zayn' as a handle tweeted: "SHOTS FIRED".

"In just minutes he threw away their almost 5 year friendship. Sorry Louis," wrote another.

"I FEEL LIKE ZAYN JUST STABBED A KNIFE IN MY HEART AND TWISTED IT SO HARD," tweeted a fan.
