Bruce Jenner Update: Threatens to Sue Over "Illegally Obtained" Dress Photos
Bruce Jenner's legal team has threatened to sue the New York Daily News and CNN after the sites published a grainy photo of him wearing a dress.
The former Olympian, who revealed last Friday that he identifies as a woman, was photographed at his home in Malibu clad in a striped maxi dress while holding a cigarette.
Jenner complained that the photos, published in the New York Daily Newsand shown on CNN in a segment hosted by Don Lemon - titled "Caught on Camera: Bruce Jenner's New Look?" - violated his privacy because they were taken via a telephoto lens from as far as a mile away.
"Both Daily News and CNN pulled the photos sold to them by X17 once they found out they were illegally obtained," a spokesperson for Jenner told the Los Angeles Times.
"The agency no longer is selling those photos [since] they confirmed they were shot illegally. Under California law, photographers can be found liable for invasion of privacy for using telephoto lenses to capture images of people engaged in 'personal or familial activity.'"

Jenner's threat over legal action comes just four days after his powerful two-hour special with Diane Sawyer aired last Friday. During the interview, the father of six kids and four stepkids said point-blank: "I am a woman," and discussed his plans to transition from male to female.
