Andrew Wardle, 40, from Greater Manchester, does not have a penis. Strangely it was never detected by even one of the 100 women that he bedded over the decades, according to mirror.

In TLC's 'The Man With No Penis', Wardle has discussed his strange case, admitting his life-long secret to friends and family, including a long-term girlfriend, Fedra. The program was filmed over 12 months, and is expected to be aired on Thursday, 11 June, at 10.00 p.m. on TLC UK.

Wardle is examining the possibility of going in for a life-changing operation that may help him to acquire a fully-functioning penis built from the skin, blood vessels and nerves taken from his arm. If his operation turns out well, he will have a fully functioning penis for the first time in his life.

Born with a rare anomaly, Wardle was left with testicles, but no penis. He explains how he managed to hide his secret from his lovers. "I've told 20% of them the truth," he says, but then reveals how one woman hit him when she learned the astonishing truth.

"It is difficult to explain to a new girlfriend, but when I have, some have been really nice about it. But I was punched in the face once when I told a girl," he said.

"I guess she was angry as she felt like I had lied but it's not something you can say right away."

Only now, after 40 years, he has made up his mind to disclose the truth, admitting: "I was sick of hiding."

"My first girlfriend was really nice and understanding," he explained. "We went out for four years and it was not a problem. It may have been if we were together in the future but we were only 15, so it wasn't."
