George and Amal Clooney are set for baby number one, but reports suggest the feuding couple can't agree on godparents!
The couple has been trying to settle down with a baby for a while and their efforts have finally paid off as Amal Alamuddin is three months pregnant. The news of pregnancy comes amidst divorce rumors and the couple's unwillingness to settle down given their divergent careers.
"The news, while happy, was a bit of a surprise to the couple. They had begun trying - or at least not preventing - shortly after their September wedding," a source was reportedly quoted saying while adding that Amal became pregnant the natural way.
The star couple is reportedly happy to embark on parenthood as they don't want to get too old before they became parents. Clooney is 53 and wife Amal is 39.
"They wanted to start sooner rather than later. They don't want to be too old to enjoy parenthood!" a source told Ok Magazine.
However the bickering has not stopped as Clooney and Amal have no common ground for godparents. While the actor suggested best friends Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford, his lawyer wife wouldn't have it. She reportedly wants her sister for the role.
