Mila Kunis And Ashton Kutcher Update: Couple Respond To Chicken-Stealing Lawsuit From Childhood Pal
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher lashed back at Ukrainian aspiring singer Kristina Karo who alleged that the 32-year old actress stole her chicken when they were still children.
According to a report from People, the Ted actress responded jokingly in a video from TMZ saying, "I was weeping ... I was dumbfounded ... Which chicken did I steal?"
She further said that the lawsuit has caused her 'damages' and thus promised to file a counter lawsuit for causing it.
"My body hurts, my eyes hurt; they're burning. That requires money."
"I would like to launch a counter $5000 lawsuit for making me sit there and watch your music video - shamelessly," she further added as mentioned in the Sydney Morning Herald.
Ashton Kutcher went on questioning the details of the $5000 lawsuit filed by Karo as it coincided with the timing when her first ever music video, "Give Me Green Card," was released.
"The girl has a music video coming out the same time she is suing you?"
Earlier reports from TMZ said that Kristina Karo claimed that she and Mila Kunis are best pals 25 years ago when they were still kids and were raised together in a village in Ukraine.
Karo, that time, is said to have a pet chicken named Doggie which Kunis also wants to own
"Kristina alleges in her lawsuit she loved Doggie like a dog, and so did Mila, who would come to her house and play with the little clucker," TMZ said.
But then Doggie got lost one day with Mila confessing she stole that chicken,
"Kristina, you can have any other chicken as a pet, you have a whole chicken farm."
The lose of her pet chicken has caused her intense sadness that she went into therapy costing her a lot of money.
Further, now that she is in LA pursuing a singing career, seeing her old best pal now turned into a big star in Hollywood has opened up old wounds again thus making her want to undergo therapy again.
In a Facebook post, Kristina Karo responded to Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher's statement saying, "I'm hurt. Just hurt. #BringDoggieBack."
