Blue Bell Creameries voluntarily recalled of its products on Monday among 23 states and international locations after two samples of its chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream were found to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes virus.
According to Fortune, the recalls will include products like ice cream, frozen yogurt, sherbet, and frozen snacks from the shelves.
CEO Paul Kruse in a statement said that the move is done to assure the standards and quality of their product
"We're committed to doing the 100% right thing, and the best way to do that is to take all of our products off the market until we can be confident that they are all safe," he said.

From 2011-2014, three patients from Texas also have the virus.
