Ryoo Kihl-jae, the Unification Minister of the Republic of Korea (ROK), has dispelled rumors surrounding  the health of the North Korean Leader Kim Jong-Un. He said that North Korea's top military official, Kim Yang Gon, revealed during his recent visit that there was "no problem" with Kim's health.

The revelation was made over the course of the recent surprising visit to South Korea by Pyongyang's highest ranking officials under the garb of attending the 17the Asian Games closing ceremony in Incheon, Sunday, reports China Daily.

"Given his tone, here were remarks sufficient to believe that Kim Jong-Un has no problem with his health," Ryoo said, reports the Agence France Presse.

Kim Jong Un, the Supreme Leader of North Korea has been missing from the public eye for the past several weeks fueling wild speculations.

Ryoo said Hwang had asked him to deliver a "heartfelt greeting" from Kim Jong-Un to South Korean President Park Geun-Hye, reports AFP.

There are several stories doing the rounds about KIm's health from gout to fracture to obesity related problems, according to media reports.

The recent meeting between the two Koreas is an indication of Pyongyang's willingness to move talks forward. The three top-rank officials conveyed that North Korea was ready to hold a second round of high-level meetings between late October and early November, South Korea's Unification Ministry said in a statement, reports the CNN.

The first meeting was held in February.

Both the Koreas have been at loggerheads since 1953. North Korea has been conducting missile and nuclear tests despite sanctions against it.
