‘Batman v Superman’ Update: Zack Synder Unveils Two IMAX Posters
More details regarding the upcoming superhero movie, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," have been released. Director Zack Synder, who has been very active on his Twitter page, has unveiled two IMAX posters in preparation for the IMAX movie theater event.
Prior to releasing the IMAX posters, Synder also uploaded the teaser trailer for the movie, which was leaked late last week. Here is the "#NotPirated" version of the trailer:
Although the trailer does not contain too many plot details, fans got a glimpse into the type of world that the movie is set in. The trailer opens with several questions regarding Superman's purpose on Earth and whether or not he is good or bad for the world. Fans also saw a sneak peak at the reportedly epic battle between Superman and Batman.
Synder noted that there are a few extra shots of the movie that were not shown in the leaked trailer. The IMAX event that is taking place Monday, April 20 in select theaters will give fans a bigger idea of what they can expect for the movie.
The movie stars Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/ Superman), Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne/ Batman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/Super Woman), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luther), Jason Momoa (Arthur Curry/ Aquaman) and more.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," the sequel to "Man of Steel" is set to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
