New Updates and Reviews on Nexus Android 5.1 Update
Google Nexus 4 users have reported that the phone is now facilitating the update of the Android platform to Android 5.1 Lollipop software.
The 174.5 MB over the air update has been provided to only users in some countries. The update options shall be flashed in the phone automatically or the users can also go for the update manually, by clicking on the 'System Updates' option, on the 'Settings' menu.
The new Android 5.1 would feature only detailed changes such as support for multiple SIM cards, Device Protection and HD voice on compactable devices.
On the other hand, users of the Nexus 5 reported that the phone features a very poor quality camera. The camera happens to crash after the Android 5.1 Lollipop update. The issue is said to occur when a third part app ties or even the default app tries to access the camera, resulting in a crash. A simple reboot reportedly fixes the issue temporarily, but then the problem is said to occur again.
Apart from the memory leak issue that is still affecting users, some Nexus 7 and Nexus 5 users are reporting that their devices are being bricked after updating to Lollipop, with the exact version different for affected users.
