Alec Baldwin's Daughter Goes to Rehab: Ireland Baldwin Volunteers for "Emotional Trauma"

Ireland Baldwin daughter of actor Adam Baldwin has checked herself into rehab to receive treatment for 'emotional trauma'.

The 19 year old admitted that her decision to check into the rehab was her own after refuting reports that she was forced into the facility by her family members.

While refusing to give the exact reason, Baldwin said on Twitter, "I checked myself into Soba for two weeks to just get away for a little bit."

She then added, "Some emotional trauma and getting the intensive therapy. Someday I'll feel ready to share my story."

''Openly without feeling the way I do. Right now I just need a breather. I needed a chance to work on myself and gather all the tools...

''I need to overcome everything that I had been through and rid myself of all the pain I locked away in unreachable places.''

Apart from her modelling career, Ireland Baldwin is also looking to follow in the footsteps of her illustrious parents. She played a role in the 2013 film Grudge Match that starred Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone.

Ireland is the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger who were together for 9 years before divorcing in 2002. The divorce resulted in a bitter custody dispute of their child which was extensive covered by the media.
