Tori Spelling Hospitalized After Falling on Sizzling 'Benihana' Hibachi Grill
Tori Spelling was happily enjoying an Easter Sunday brunch at the Benihana's Japanese Restaurant in Encino, California when she accidentally, trip onto a Japanese style hot grill that had caused severe burns in her arm.
According to a report from Mail Online, an onlooker described that the actress-turned-reality TV star is enjoying some quality time with kids, Liam, Stella, Hattie and Finn, her husband Dean Mcdermott and a few other guests when suddenly she had the accident.
"Tori had been laughing and having fun with her family at Easter brunch when she got up to leave and tripped, falling backwards on to a scorching hot grill. She shouted out in pain from a large burn on the back of her right arm," the source said.
Photos from the news source showed that the actress took a look at her damaged arm and tried to gain composure the whole time.
"You could tell she was hurting, but she was trying to put on a brave face for the sake of her four young children who were quite obviously worried. Dean looked upset too, but you could tell they were doing their best to stay calm and not alarm the children," the source further said.
The reality star treated the burn at home but reportedly consulted a doctor when the pain worsened. The latter then sent her to at Grossman Burn Center in West Hills, CA. for skin graft treatment Extra said.
"Tori's doctors determined she had a severe burn and suggested they remove the damaged skin and graft skin from another area of the body. She questioned if it was absolutely necessary, but doctors said she risked severe infection and scarring if she didn't act right away. She underwent a skin graft last week and must now spend several days recuperating," a source said.
Before the unfortunate incident, the actress posted several photos on her Instagram showing that she is enjoying the moment with her family, ET reports.
In a photo, Tori Spelling posted aphoto with her baby while they are having Easter brunch at the Japanese style restaurant.
She captioned it saying, ""At #Easter lunch with my amazing family and extended family. Loving on my precious nephew Boz! #TheFamilyYouChooseToCreateIsEverything."
In an earlier picture, she posted another photo saying, "Happy #Easter from The McDermotts!"
