Ryan Reynolds Struck in Hit and Run Accident in Parking Lot
Actor Ryan Reynolds was the victim of an alleged hit-and-run in a parking lot in Canada when he was struck by a car before the driver sped off, according to reports.
The 38-year-old actor was in a hotel parking lot in Vancouver when the accident happened, his publicist and police have revealed.
"While walking, Ryan was struck by a paparazzi driving a car through an underground parking garage. The [driver] fled the scene," publicist Leslie Sloane told the Associated Press. "Ryan is okay."
The driver of the car that hit the actor was allegedly a paparazzi, but the police did not state whether the driver had been identified or located.
Reynolds, who hails from Vancouver, was in town to film Deadpool.
Meanwhile his wife, Blake Lively, was in Los Angeles over the weekend to do press for her latest film, The Age of Adaline.
Reynolds later took to his Twitter account to respond to a reporter who asked him to comment on the hit and run accident that took place in the parking garage of his hotel in Vancouver, Canada.
"Put Beachcombers back on the air and I'll call," Ryan responded to the CBC reporter. In case you do not know, The Beachcombers is a comedy series in that aired on CBC and went off the air in 1990.
