LG G4 Release Date, Specs and Rumors Update: Leaked Images Show Leather-Clad Smartphone
Images of LG's new smartphone G4 have been leaked ahead of its official launch. A work-in-progress microsite was discovered by Evan Blass and first reported by The Verge.
According to the leaked images, the LG G4 looks eerily similar to LG G3. However, it does contain some cosmetic changes, such as optional real leather back and a pseudo carbon-fiber weave on the front.
The leaked images show that the smartphone will be launched with a multitude of swappable back plates. The LG Quick Circle case, which has a window to let you view notifications while the cover is closed, also appears to be making a return with the G4, The Verge noted.
In terms of specs, most notable is the camera that would have laser autofocus and an infrared color spectrum analyzer for more accurate color reproduction.
Other specs of LG G4 include a 5.5-inch, quad HD screen, a replaceable 3,000mAh battery, and a microSD card slot.
LG is expected to release the G4 on April 24.
