Adam Levine got interrupted while singing on stage when a frenzied fan climbed up and tried to hug him. The incident happened on the Honda Center in Anaheim on Monday in North America, ET Online said.

The incident did not stop there as the female fan, said to be drank, tries to touch the singer's face and her fingernail left a scratch on his ear.

Cameras are aimed on stage while the moment was taking place. The whole time, the Animals singer is said to keep his cool, pushing the girl at first but then hugging her while waiting for the security men to arrive and escort the girl away from him.

"It's just weird to be, like, in the moment, ya know? And you're singing, and your eyes are closed, and you have this beautiful moment. And then the next thing you know someone's f-king in your face," Levine said to the crowd after the incident. "It's super terrifying," the singing coach said in the press interview as mentioned by Gawker.

That was weird right?" he added. "She like cut my ear," he added.

According to MTV, the Maroon 5 vocalist continued his number when the girl was finally removed from the scene.

After that segment, he then addressed the crowd, "that was f-cking weird, right?"

However, in the end, Adam did not keep hard feelings toward the unknown girl. "It's all good. I love, you sweetheart. I'm glad you're a fan of the band."

The concert on Monday is said to be the last for Maroon 5 before Adam Levine will participate in the taping in the next episode of The Voice and commence his role as coach.
