Sony Xperia Z4 might be launched this summer, according to latest rumors. Reportedly, the device has obtained an approval from Federal Communications and Commissions in the United States.

Approval from FCC is a requirement for all consumer electronics before they can be launched in the US market.

Reportedly, the certification also lists six different variants of the device supporting different LTE brands.

Rumors also suggest that the yet-to-be-launched Sony Xperia Z4 has been approved by Japanese Internal Affairs and Communication Ministry and is reportedly coming through Japanese networks NTT, DoCoMo, KDDI and Softbank.

Notably, the Sony Xperia Z3 is not available anymore at the T-Mobile. However, interested users can still buy the customized version of the handset from Verizon Wireless.

Leaked documents hint that the said flagship would carry a 5-inch of bigger screen display with 2K pixel resolution, octa core Snapdragon 810 processor paired with Adreno 420 GPU, 4 GB of RAM, and 24 MP rear camera and 12 MP front-facing camera.

Sony Xperia Z4 is also expected to include unique features such as PlayStation Remote Play and IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
