Apple iPad Mini 4 Release Date and Specs Rumors Update: Next Version Rumored to Sport 2GB RAM, A8 Processor

Apple might be planning for an early release of iPad Mini 4, just weeks after revealing the Apple Watch on March 9, 2015, according to latest rumors.

iPad Mini 4 is rumored to sport A8 processor with 2GB of RAM. However, according to an analysis by Macworld UK, the release of iPad Mini 4 might not happen before October and November.

Another school of rumors suggest that the company might release the smaller tablet along side iPad Pro in June at the Worldwide Developer's Conference 2015.

iPad Mini 4 is also expected to be thinner, similar to iPad Air models, while retaining that same 7.9-inch screen.

Experts believe that the new iPad Mini 4 might also signify the end of Apple's Mini tablet series post release of the iPhone 6, which is, as a matter of fact, Apple's version of a phablet.

An updated version of iPhone 6 is also rumored to be revealed this year, according to Macworld. "The most likely release date for the iPhone 6S is September 2015, which would follow Apple's iPhone release schedule history," the site noted.
