‘Dancing with the Stars’ Update: Rumer Willis Dethroned, Redfoo Becomes First Star to Go
Rumer Willis, daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, has been dethroned on the hit ABC competition show, "Dancing with the Stars."
Willis, who is partnered up with pro Val Chmerkovskiy, became an early favorite when she earned the highest score during the first week. This week, however, her top spot was taken over by Olympian Nastia Liukin and her partner, Derek Hough, who scored 34 out of 40 for their rumba.
Willis and Chmerkovskiy tied for second with "Hunger Games" actress, Willow Shield (pro Mark Ballas) and singer Riker Lynch (pro Allison Holker). All three pairs received a 32 out of 40.
On the other end of the scoreboard, LMFAO's Redfoo (pro Emma Slater) and model Charlotte McKinney (pro Keo Motsepe), who had the lowest scores based on last week's performance with 22 out of 40, were in danger of being eliminated along with actress Suzanne Somers (pro Tony Dovolani) and "The Bachelor" Chris Soules, who is paired with last year's winner, pro Whitney Carson.
McKinney and Soules were able to get out secure enough votes to stay on for another week, leaving Redfoo and Somers in the bottom two. Redfoo, who received a 31 our of 40 for this week's dance, ended up being the first celebrity to leave the competition.
"I'm happy I got the chance to dance," Redfoo told host Tom Bergeron. "I did my best. I think Emma is the best and I wanted to be there for her."
Soules got this week's lowest score, earning only 21 points from the judges for his cha-cha-cha McKinney received the second lowest score with a 26 out of 40.
"Dancing with the Stars" airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
